Reiki is a gentle energy healing method originating in Japan, founded by Mikao Usui in 1922. It works by channeling universal life force energy to clear blocked or stagnant energy, restoring balance across body, mind, and spirit.
This practice is non-religious and free of superstition—Reiki is now widely recognised as a supportive healing technique in hospitals and wellness centers across the world. Its goal is not to replace medical care but to complement your overall healing journey.

👐 What to Expect in a Session
You'll be seated or lying down comfortably while the practitioner gently scans your energy field and chakras using hands held just above the body.
In most cases, the session involves non-touch energy healing. Hands may be placed over major energy centers (forehead, heart, joints) to transmit Reiki energy. Sensations such as warmth, coolness, or tingling are common during the process—it’s your energy realigning.
After the session, you may feel deeply relaxed, emotional release, or a detox-like reaction. We recommend drinking warm water and resting to help your body integrate the energetic shifts.

A distant Reiki session is quicker and as strong as a ‘hands on’ Reiki treatment. And it is possible that the effects can even be felt straightaway. Reiki could help you heal physically, emotionally and spiritually all at the same time. Reiki has its own special way of finding where the receiver will gain most benefit.
Distance reiki healing is by appointment only so I can ensure that you are ready to receive your healing session and you are in a relaxed state.
It is important that you send me the exact physical location where you will receive your Reiki treatment.
It would be helpful, but not necessary, if you are able to send a current photo.
